Hi, I'm Anne! I love creating almost as much as I love inspiring children to create!

As the owner of Art by Design LLC I combine my training as a licensed K-12 art educator with my passion for creativity to build confidence in young artists.

I offer a variety of courses to suit a variety of families. Locally I offer small group art lessons and a summer day camp. Nationally I offer virtual art lessons using zoom to connect young artists from across the country.

My own art making journey allows me to create afforable contemporary artwork in a variety of formats. While I offer tradtional framed drawings, I also share limited edition hand embellished prints, stationery, notebooks, and sticky notes. I believe art should be enjoyed and cost should not be a deterrent to that joy.

My husband Dan is my number one fan, and our dog Rizzo is my loyal assistant. We live in a small town north of Madison, Wisconsin, where I work full time as a middle school art teacher.
